Influencers are such a crucial part of the social media world right now. “If my fav social media influencer likes it, I'm going to at least give it a go” – a sentence that runs through all of our minds when we see them trying something new that they love! We all have our go-to influencers that we are constantly looking to for any sort of inspiration or tips, our personal favs are Jillian Harris and Jessica Janzen. Both of these amazing ladies are originally from Alberta, just like us!

Jillian Harris

Ohhh Jillian, who doesn’t know of her and absolutely love her and everything she does, from the Jilly Boxes to her interior design business, and her work on reality tv we LOVE her. As a Canadian working mom she is someone many of us look up to, we trust her and her opinion which is what really matters in an influencer.

Another thing we love about Jillian is her social impact, she is passionate about reinvesting into her local and surrounding communities and supporting organizations doing amazing things. To learn more about her social impact check out her website here.

Jessica Janzen

Jessica is another amazing influencer we can’t get enough of, an author and keynote speaker from the Calgary area who spreads so much joy to the social world. From her book, to her course, to her energizing personality she is someone we look up to and trust.

Jessica started The Love for Lewiston Foundation after the passing of her son Lewiston James Olstad at 6 months of age. The foundation's goal is to raise funds focused on treatments and finding a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy through SMA Research and The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation as well as create awareness, bring joyful experience, and spread love. Everyone has their favourite influencers that they look to for inspiration, new fashion trends, great recipes, trending workouts, literally anything. The social impact these women and so many influential people have on the world through their channels is what is so powerful about influencers, and we can’t get enough of it!
